In response to the Job Support Scheme announcement, designed to protect viable jobs in the UK, artists are speaking out. This comes after Rishi Sunak’s comments suggesting that those in the arts and culture sector may need to consider retraining for alternative employment.

 

Artists across the country are sharing their views, challenging the notion that their work is less essential and reaffirming the importance of the creative industries to both our economy and our culture.
